Investigation
Term 2
This term the students are exploring the question 'Why do things change?'
This week the students looked at some photos of things that change. We had a great discussion about different seasons, weather conditions and things that change caused by humans. The students sorted the photos into 2 groups.
1- Natural Changes
2- Changes caused by humans
The students then came up with a class definition of change.
Change- something that looks or sounds or tastes or feels or smells different.

Observing the Weather
The students went outside to observe the weather. They made picture frames with their fingers and talked about what they could see. Here is a short video showing the students looking at the weather.

Summer
The students worked in gorups to identify and draw pictures about summer. They each got a title including food, activities, weather and clothes. We also talked about how important it is to listen to each other and take turns when working in a gorup.
